Hey guys! We all love video games don’t we? We all have a little bit of a gamer inside us somewhere. Who doesn’t play video games in this generation? Well not playing is a rare possibility. Games are very crucial for our leisure time and they can act as very efficient stressbusters, only if you don’t overdo it! Well here’s a little something for our video game lovers. This post deals with the PCSX2 bios,plugins and it's setup and configuration.
Today we’ll be teaching how to configure your PCSX2 properly. Now we know how bad you want to play those PS2 games on your PC. So here it is!
Lets first deal with how to download and where to get the
necessary Bios and Plugin files and how to configure your PCSX2 for optimum
performance.
Downloading and
Setup:
Firstly, you need to download the playstation 2 emulator, it's plugins and BIOS files
from this link here
After that, install it on your PC just like any other
program.
Bios and Plugin
Files:
Bios:
Now go on to extract the Bios file to your desktop as given in
the picture below.
Open the same folder and press CTRL+A to select all the
files in there. Copy all of them and paste them in the directory given below.
Directory: Computer/
Documents/ PCSX2/ Bios
The picture given below illustrates the same.
Now let’s head over to the Plugins.
Plugins:
Go on to extract the Plugins folder to the desktop as given in the
picture below. Now like the Bios part, open the extracted folder and copy all
the files you find there and paste them into the directory given below:
Directory: Computer/
Program Files/ Local Disk (C:)/ PCSX2 1.2.1/ Plugins
Now that we are done with getting all the necessary files,
we go on to teach you how to get the most out of your gameplay experience on
your beloved PCSX2 emulator.

Note: Uncheck XInput if you don't have an Xbox Controller.
